From Kirkwall Airport (3 miles)

By car: turn right at the main road, A960, and continue towards Kirkwall for 2.9 miles. Turn left onto Clay Loan and at the junction at bottom of hill, turn left onto Junction Road and after 370 metres you will find Pipersquoy Cottage on the corner of the 3rd street on the left, Pipersquoy Road. By bus: the bus service from the Airport (Service 4) passes Pipersquoy Cottage with a bus stop about 70 metres from the door.

From Kirkwall, Hatston Northlink Ferry Terminal (2.4 miles)

Leaving the Ferry Terminal, turn left at the junction towards Kirkwall and take the second exit at the roundabout. Passing The Co-op, Tesco and Lidl supermarkets, turn right at the mini-roundabout and Pipersquoy Road is on the corner of the 4th street on the left, Pipersquoy Road. Map

From Stromness Ferry Terminal (14 miles)

Leaving the Ferry Terminal, turn right onto Ferry Road and follow the signs to Kirkwall, around half way in Finstown village turn right onto Old Finstown Road [Immediately after the Petrol station on your right]. Continue for around another 7 miles, at the very bottom of the hill opposite the Catholic Church in Kirkwall turn right onto Junction Road, Pipersquoy Road is 2nd Road on left, Pipersquoy Cottage is 1st cottage on the left on Pipersquoy Road. From St Margaret's Hope Pentland Ferries Terminal (14.9 miles)

Follow the signs to Kirkwall, on arriving in Kirkwall after passing the Highland Park Distillery go left go down Holm Branch Road and take the 3 rd exit on to New Scapa Road, Pipersquoy Road is 2nd turn on the right and is the 1 st cottage on left.  Map
